ART HAS THE REMARKABLE ABILITY to transcend boundaries , evoke emotions , and spark creativity . Adam Kleinert , Extol ’ s Creative Director , stands out as a unique and captivating creator - and an all around nice guy .

“ I ’ ve been drawing ever since I can remember ,” recalled Adam . “ From an early age , everyone thought that I would be an artist . For a long time , I think I tried to rebel against that , so I thought that I would be an athlete and stuff . Over the years , I started going back to art . Then in college , I studied fine art graphic design and started painting and drawing .”

“ My art has been an ever evolving process .” Adam pursues art in all its forms , from drawing , to jewelry creations , to soap making , he ’ s an artist with no limits .

Adam ’ s most notable , current work features a wide range of Marvel , DC , and various superhero and pop culture prints . “ I ’ m always experimenting and pushing myself to try new mediums ,” said Adam , whose work can be seen in the form of watercolors , acrylic markers and paint , ink pens , pencils , gouache paint , and digital illustration .

When it comes to inspiration , Adam feels his art is a form of “ addiction .”

“ It ’ s not always that I ’ m inspired , but that it ’ s a need to create . It ’ s something that I have to get out of my system . If I get an idea , I have to sit down and do it .”

Adam , a husband , father , and sometimes goat herder , is currently working on his own comic book . “ I have a pretty cool story that I want to tell ,” he says . “ Right now , I ’ m just really trying to get my work more established .

Adam knows that there ’ s more to art than just creating and selling . “ When it comes to being an artist , I just really want to be known for being a nice guy , that ’ s really it .” Coming from a sports background , Adam is no stranger to competition . “ Sometimes people wouldn ’ t be willing to help each other out because you ’ re competing against each other . In anything , sports and art , I just really believe in helping one another , being the best versions of ourselves .”

Advice for other creatives ? Adam has simple , but wise counsel . “ Anyone , young or old , if you have something you ’ re passionate about and want to do , even if you don ’ t think you ’ re good at it , just do it .”
