The Greater Clark Educational Foundation was founded as a nonprofit corporation in 1999 to be a source of charitable funds for Greater Clark County Schools . As a result of our generous donors and excellent board leadership , we have grown from giving away several hundred dollars annually to providing almost $ 100,000 in grants each year . That ’ s money that makes a difference in classrooms , such as helping fund programs like the Academies of Greater Clark that prepares our High School students for their post-secondary endeavors . We have also supported ACT testing for all juniors , Teacher Externships , Creative Classroom Grants , Theatre Art Grants , VEX Robotics , Guided Level Reading Materials for our Elementary Schools , Great Clark Family Night Out with the Harlem Wizards and our Teacher Supply Bus .
