live? My guess is not many. The year was
1969, and not only America, but the entire
world, held its breath as Neil Armstrong took
the first steps on the moon. That walk
became the highlight of nearly every
American that year…
Except for Norman Melhiser and Ed Endres.
These two finance-minded individuals were
busy creating the accounting firm known as
Melhiser and Endres, CPAs in New Albany,
IN. As the business flourished, they added
Tom Tucker as partner and became known
as Melhiser, Endres, Tucker CPAs P.C. (MET).
The firm quickly outgrew their office by 1983
and relocated to a newly constructed building
at 301 E Elm Street. They remain there today,
but under the new name acquired in the 2008
merger: Rodefer Moss.
There have been many changes throughout
the years stemming from the firm’s rapid
growth, but one thing has remained
constant, the outstanding accounting,
business consulting, and client services
provided by Rodefer Moss.
Local offices of Rodefer Moss are located in
New Albany, IN; Corydon, IN; and Louisville,
KY and have grown immensely over the past
50 years. There are 25 CPAs and
approximately 50 employees in Southern
Indiana serving over 6,000 business
and individual clients.
