THEY MET ON JULY 19 , 2014 , after Andrea made a post regarding finances and investing , and Jai responded . That led to direct messaging , which culminated in a 2 + hour phone call . For the next six weeks , the couple spoke daily before finally going on their first date on Aug . 29 , 2014 . Eventually , Jai proposed by telling Andrea , “ I simply couldn ’ t imagine a life without you .” The pair wed Aug . 29 , 2020 , at The Henry Clay in Louisville and were married by Pastor Charles K . Burton Jr . The reception , which was held in the same venue , featured a spirited introduction of the wedding party to “ Champagne Life ,” an incredibly competitive bouquet toss , and great music and dancing .
